Top 5 Power Forwards in OKC Thunder History
Tom Chambers
It’s hard to say that a player who won the All-Star game MVP is underrated but when it comes to Tom Chambers, that is certainly the case. The All-Star game performance was probably the highlight of Chambers’ career in which he scored 34 points and had four rebounds and four steals as well.
Chambers’ skill-set is eerily similar to a current Thunder player who is going to be on this list soon. He was known for his excellent shooting for a big man and vicious dunks (please tell me you know which player this should remind you of).
While Chambers was known as a high-volume scorer, that didn’t stop him from being selected to two All-NBA Second teams and three All-Star teams. He also made a name for himself by posterizing many players during his time such as Mark Jackson, as seen below.
Even though Chambers didn’t make himself as known in Seattle as he did once he got to the Phoenix Suns, he still started it all with the SuperSonics and definitely made an impact on the franchise before he left to play out his prime in Phoenix.
