Kevin Durant’s Top 10 Moments with the Thunder
By Ben Bundy
8. All-Star Game MVP
In his first nine seasons in the NBA Durant has found himself playing in the All-Star Game seven times. For most players that would be enough to make the list of their best achievements. Durant decided to take it a step further though.
During the 2011-12 All-Star game, Durant put up one of the more impressive stat lines in recent years, finishing with 36 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals. These numbers were enough to earn him the All-Star Game MVP Award. Durant is no stranger to exploding during the All-Star game though. He has scored 30+ points in four All-Star games, which have helped him average the highest career points per game in All-Star game history, at 25.6.
Being only only 27 and in his prime, Durant is almost a lock to make the next few All-Star game rosters. That will give him even more chances to leave his mark on the star studded game and maybe even bring home another All-Star MVP.
