6’3, 185 pounds

Drafted by Thunder in 2015, First Round Pick 14

We all know the name. We all know the talent. Now is the time for Payne to show his true capabilities. After one game, I’d say he’s done a great job. Payne hit a three with four seconds left to solidify the Thunder’s win in their first Summer League game today. Cam showed flashes in his rookie season, but he showed his youth in the playoffs. This Summer League is his chance to prove that he is ready to take on the backup point guard role full-time.
