SURPRISE!!!!!! If he’s the best player in franchise history OF COURSE he’s the best point guard in franchise history.

Russ has dominated the point guard position since the Thunder became the Thunder. Westbrook has been the starting point guard for Oklahoma City in 569 of the possible 640 games. He has been an NBA scoring champ, an all-star game MVP and a triple-double king.

Now that KD is gone, this is Westbrook’s team. Is he going to take 50 shots a game like people think? Or is he going to make sure to get his teammates involved? I’d venture to say a little bit of both.

Russ is crazy. But Russ also wants to win. This year will be the defining moment in Westbrook’s career, and Thunder fans will be able to watch each and every moment from one of the most interesting players in NBA history.
