Honorable Mentions

Before we get to the number 1 Westbrook moment of last season, we must stop to look back at my two favorite moments from earlier years.

Don’t Leave Me Hanging

Many over the years, have criticized Russell Westbrook. But, one thing they can’t say is he doesn’t care about team chemistry. Why else would he be so upset with his teammate for not giving him a high-five.

The slapping of five is a sacred tradition in the NBA. It’s the reason after every single free throw you see teammates go up to the person shooting and dap them up.

The little things such as handshakes and helping teammates off the ground are meant to represent brotherhood and respect. To show that no matter what, I got your back.

Westbrook, obviously felt the love was lacking in that exchange.

Execution

Well, there are a lot worse ways to deal with someone you don’t see eye-to-eye with. Plus, we got to see Westbrook give his own interpretation of the Marshawn Lynch. We’ve heard the great quotables from Lynch such as “yeah”, “you know why I’m here”, and my personal favorite, “thanks for asking”.

Now, Westbrook gives us “execution”, not only on the court, but off it as well.

But, don’t worry folks, we want zero problems with Westbrook over here at Thunderous Intentions.

We love Westbrook.

And his execution.
