Oklahoma City Thunder: Game of RINGZ Part 1
Welcome to Game of RINGZ, a fictional tale about former Oklahoma City Thunder stars Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant.
A long time ago in a far away land, there lived two brothers in a giant castle in a relatively small city. These two brothers ruled the city known as Thunderos. Lord Russell and Servant Kevin fought many battles and wars together but never reached the top of the mountain and their ultimate goal of the RINGZ.
This is their story. This is Game of RINGZ.
Lord Russell and Servant Kevin returned home after one of their most intense wars to date. They had lost many friends on the battlefield that day. Bignut, Ser Ibaka, and Dion the Waiter were all victims of Prince Curry, Draytheon, and that generic looking dude who you see every episode but don’t know his name.
Russell was frustrated. He had left it all on the battlefield and had nothing to show for it. Kevin seemed less concerned, almost happy that it was over and that he didn’t have to fight King James and his royal army.
A few weeks later, Servant Kevin received a visit from House Warriors of Golden State. They were holding hands and laughing even though King James had just slaughtered them and everything they stood for. Servant Kevin was happy to see the Prince, Draytheon, and that other guy who looks like a randomly generated video game character. The four men talked for hours about the battles that they had been through. They discussed strategies and game plans. They wondered how fun it would be if they could just fight together instead of against one another.

Lord Russell got word of this meeting and just shook his head. Servant Kevin was his best friend, and he trusted him with his life. He knew that Kevin was friends with the armies that they had fought against, but he never minded that, even if he never understood it either. Russell would never fraternize with the enemy. How could he be friends with someone off the battlefield and then want to try and murder them when war broke out? It was easier not to have friends.
House Warriors didn’t want just to talk to Servant Kevin; they wanted to recruit him. They told him that they needed him to conquer King James and that he needed them if he had hoped to ever capture the elusive RINGZ.
The RINGZ were of the utmost importance to Kevin. He felt that they defined who he is as a man. Without one, he would never be considered one of the greatest men of his generation. He had won many trophies during his time on earth, but he needed RINGZ.
Servant Kevin thought long and hard about leaving Thunderos and joining House Warriors. He thought about the men he would be compared to. King James and Darth Wade had three RINGZ. Prince Curry and Hi Kaw both had RINGZ. He didn’t want to end up like La Melo and CerC3P. Melo Snow was content with medals, not succumbing to the Games of RINGZ.

Medals were larger and more visible. His logic was sound and straightforward. If one person is wearing a medal and another is wearing a ring, which are you likely to notice first? La Melo knows plenty and is much smarter than given credit for. CerC3P wanted RINGZ, but it’s tough to win RINGZ when you’re overbearing and can’t make it past the metaphorical second round up the mountain.
Kevin cared about the RINGZ.He saw how Air Highness and Shaqsa laughed at Sir Charles because he didn’t have a ring. He didn’t want to turn into Sir Charles. During his time as a house leader, Sir Charles was one of the toughest competitors on the field. But he never reached the mountain to capture the ring. He was viewed as a failure, just like the Mailcarrier and Sweat Patrick.
Russell couldn’t believe that Kevin would even entertain the thought of leaving Thunderos. For years, Kevin defended Thunderos and Russell when no one else would. Kevin loved Thunderos with all his heart. Russell thought Kevin would be crazy for leaving and needed to talk to him right away.
Unfortunately, Kevin became distant with Russell after talking to House Warriors. Whenever Russell would try to talk with him about upcoming battle plans, Kevin blew him off. When Russell wanted to train and get better, Kevin decided to train on his own. Russell took the hint. He gave Kevin his space, hoping that time alone to think would do him some good. Kevin didn’t spend his time alone, though. He was in constant communication with House Warriors. Prince Curry and crew were sending him messages from afar every day.
The Game of RINGZ was just beginning.
