3. Shooting Guard

Ahhh yes. Without the Serge Ibaka trade, shooting guard would be very close to the ugliness at small forward. But now the OKC Thunder have Victor Oladipo and all is well.

More from Thunder News

Oladipo is going to breakout this season in Oklahoma City. And that’s because he finally has a running mate in Russ. Their speed and relentlessness will terrorize a league that is notorious for taking days off. But this position is so much more than Oladipo.

Roberson is a natural two-guard. Alex Abrines, the Thunder’s newest signee from Spain, will give Anthony Morrow a run for the best shooter on the team.

The best quality about the Thunder’s shooting guards is their versatility. Oladipo can run the point if needed. Abrines can play the small ball three once he puts on weight. And Roberson showcased his ability to guard point guards and power forwards in the playoffs.
