OKC Thunder Sunday Social Swag and Shade: The ‘King’dom
Brother Swag:
Around the NBA the Gasol Brothers and Plumlee Brothers may be more famous (or better known), but this was a cool nod to the Grant Brothers who arrived at the game together.

Wolves Condolences Swag
In case you missed it Zach LaVine was lost to the Wolves due to a torn ACL and with that, I’ll concede my preseason dark horse Wolves will likely be lottery-bound now. Guess I’ll have to rely on my second dark horse Nuggets to get the job done. Still, when you see the grace with which Andrew Wiggins flies through the air the future remains bright in Minnesota. Get well soon Zach:
Mascot Swag:
The OKC Thunder has an amazing mascot in Rumble the Bison, but when he does things like the dunk below you recognize the skills this mascot has. Therefore Rumble gets his own swag mention this week.
Triple-Double Swag:
Another week where Russell Westbrook recorded a triple-double and maintains his trip-dub average. He’s now registered 25 on the season and is in striking distance of Oscar Robertson’s 41 triple-doubles delivered in 1961-62.
And a little more fuel demonstrating how important Cyborg Russ is to the OKC Thunder:
Jim Carrey’s Look-a-like Swag:
Hey, it might be considered shade, but is there another coach in the Association with better quotes?
Lauvergne Swag:
in the absence of Enes Kanter many worried (rightfully so) where the Thunder’s offense would come from. Arguably an unlikely source, but none-the-less effective has proven to come in the form of Joffrey Lauvergne. Kudos to the big man for stepping up to the plate.

OKC Thunder Swag:
While some are concerned the loss of Kanter could lead to the Thunder falling out of the playoffs the win (and team effort) over Memphis demonstrates the no quit in these players. Sure Westbrook was incredible, but the team defense and contributions from several different sources speak to their fight. Bravo guys – keep it up.
Home Sweet Home Swag:
After weeks on the road, it was great to see the OKC Thunder back at the Peake and all the young fans out in attendance to see their favorite team.
That wraps up this week of Swag and Shade. Remember to send us your social media hits and point out the best in the coming week.
