1- Josh Smith:

This is probably the best veteran the Oklahoma City Thunder could get in free agency but also a very unpopular one. Smith is notoriously known for his team chemistry issues, but I think playing for a smaller market team could humble the 31-year-old.

Last year with the Clippers and Rockets, Smith put up his career worst in points per game, averaging around 7 points per game. With the Thunder desperately needing a forward to add to their roster, Smith would be the perfect fit.

If Smith could develop team chemistry with the Thunder and not be a distraction, Smith would be a great asset.

In Closing:

The Thunderous Intentions team has expounded repeatedly on the fact GM Sam Presti doesn’t have much to play with on this trade deadline day. Either he sticks with his mandate to build toward the future with the youthful core or he trades the few assets the team has to reshuffle. Adding a veteran could be the only move Presti has at his disposal today, and it may be the smartest move given the existing strategy.
