Jordan Farmar:

Jordan Farmar was last seen at the Cavaliers “open try-out” in late January. According to Cavalier sources, Farmar was seen as the top performer in the workout. Jordan has also garnered interest from a number of other teams looking to add a guard, including the Philadelphia 76ers.

The two-time NBA champion was Mario Chalmers “replacement” for the Grizzlies after he went down to with Achilles injury last season. Farmar performed well over the last portion of the season averaging a little over nine points a contest. Good enough to get a contract from the Sacramento Kings at the beginning of this current season. However, he was soon released after playing only two games on the season.

The 10-year veteran can offer some of the same qualities that Chalmers could in that he is a scorer who is capable of adding experience and running a bench unit. If the OKC Thunder were to sign him, he wouldn’t be given too much  responsibility which would work well in his adjustment period to the team before the playoffs.
