The OKC Thunder extended their win streak to four games Tuesday night, beating the Utah Jazz 109-106.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!

I can’t believe Russell Westbrook pulled it off. I mean technically I did predict the 2016-2017 NBA MVP leading the OKC Thunder to victory, but the process in which Westbrook accomplished the feat was absolutely amazing.

Remember that time when James Harden was the front runner for MVP? Those times are coming to an end soon and it’s because of performances like tonight. Westbrook capped off a 43 point, 11 rebound and 10 assist night by scoring 12 points in the last 2:04 seconds. He went 3-3 from the field-including a contested three-and 3-3 from the line.

We’re now 60 games in this historic season and Westbrook continues to amaze me every night he touches the court. And with Sam Presti turning a backup point guard into two legitimate weapons for Russ to utilize he has the team to support his MVP bid.

200 words in an I have yet to mention that the Thunder hit a franchise record 12 threes in a row to start the game. That’s how incredible those final 2:04 seconds of basketball were.

But we knew Russ was amazing.

What we didn’t know was how Alex Abrines would play starting against a playoff team. Or how the new additions would perform in their game with the Thunder.

That’s what I want to talk about.
