Two straight losses and OKC Thunder fans have given up on the expectations they set 72 hours prior. There is, however, no reason to give up hope just yet.

It seems like it was only a couple days ago when OKC Thunder fans were giddy about the team’s prospects as the playoffs approached. That’s because it was.

A loss against Portland helped us realize that the newest version of the Thunder were in fact beatable. But one loss doesn’t change everything right?

Enter Friday night against the Phoenix Suns. For the second game in a row Oklahoma City came out with little effort and zero chemistry. Russell Westbrook’s usage rating topped 50% in both contests; nobody seemed interested in helping on the offensive end.

Basketball is one of those sports where a team’s performance can change in a matter of minutes. Look at this past years Western Conference Finals AND NBA Finals if you don’t know what I’m talking about.

But that’s the easy answer to this conundrum. In reality there are a plethora of reasons why Thunder fans have zero reasons to start panicking yet. I’m gonna give you the five most important ones.
