Analysts have cited the Thunder’s schedule as one of the easier timetables. Clearly, there are challenges the Thunder will face. Nine games are against current playoff seeds, five are against the top ten defenses and a further six feature the Associations top 10 offenses.

Most notably six games feature the teams currently seeded ahead of the Thunder and five pit OKC against the teams in the immediate group chasing them.

Using the squads’ current win percentage it would equate to 7.42 home wins plus 3.37 road wins or another 10 or 11 victories translating into a final record of 46-36.  Surely, that was not the hope when Presti made the trade, so immediate tweaks will need to be made.
