Russell Westbrook ‘You, the real MVP’
Remaining Games:
Four of the final eight Thunder games come on the road, an area where OKC has struggled. Having said that, the squad has seemingly turned a corner winning four of their past five road games. Most noteworthy, Westbrook registered triple-doubles in each of those games. In 12 of OKC’s 16 road wins Westbrook produced a triple-double (or 75%).
And in two other road wins he missed out by a single rebound (Bulls) and one assist shy (Pacers). The Thunder have lost 4 games on the road when Westbrook recorded a triple-double and three of those came against the Warriors, Cavaliers, and Rockets. Alternatively, the last time OKC lost at home when Russ recorded a trip-dub it was December 9th.

Short List:
Another potential roadblock for the Thunder comes courtesy of the Charlotte Hornets. Not only have the Hornets been showcasing improved play of late, but they are also one of the two remaining teams (Chicago Bulls) he has yet to register a triple-double against in his career. The Bucks join the Hornets as the other team within the remaining opponents he hasn’t recorded a trip-dub against this season.
