Ryan Anderson

Ryan Anderson came over to the Houston Rockets from the New Orleans Pelicans in the off-season. He has fit into the Rockets system like a hand to a glove. He is crucial for their success.

Anderson is an all-offense, kinda unstable defense type of player. He has made a living in the NBA by collecting the offensive boards for second chance points and shooting the three ball.

This season Houston put up a massive amount of three point shots so having a player who gives them two extra shots a game is critical in the NBA. The fact that he spaces the floor for Harden to go to work is a massive boost for the Rockets offense.

Oklahoma City are the top rebounding team in the NBA. The first step to curbing the influence of Ryan Anderson is to box him out on the glass. Without these easy points, he will be forced to shoot from distance to get his points.

If Oklahoma City, who are not a good team at rotating defensively can fix this issue, getting a hand in the face of Anderson when he is shooting will reduce his effectiveness.

If Taj Gibson is able to break even with Anderson on scoring, this will be a win for the OKC Thunder.
