Kanter’s Best Moments

Enes Kanter had his share of moments this season that highlighted his talents and contributions to the team. Even though Russell Westbrook overshadowed everyone’s performance this season with his triple-double rampage, Kanter had his moments where we found ourselves saying give that man the ball more Russell!

It did come against the lowly Philadelphia 76ers, but Enes showed how much of an impact he can have in a little amount of time. In only 12 minutes played, he dropped 19 points and 6 rebounds easily. That’s a full nights worth of stats for most big men.

It’s always great when Enes takes it to his former team. His reverse dunk against the Jazz was easily his best of the season all things considered.

He also had a beautiful piece explaining what it’s like to play with a player like Russell Westbrook. If you haven’t read it yet, for whatever reason, you can check it out here. In his piece, he showed us all that Russ is way more than just this maniac with a basketball. He showed us that Russ matured into a fantastic leader. This piece made me like Kanter even more than I already did. Still not enough to justify keeping him on the team, however. More on that later.

I love this video simply because Kanter is telling off my least favorite player in the league. He shooed Patrick Beverley  away like the little pest he is. For that, I applaud you Enes Kanter.

This last moment is just a testament to the player Kanter can be once he has his groove. Enes put up 29 points and 12 rebounds in 32 minutes played. He scored those 29 points in a variety of ways. He also had more offensive rebounds in this game than defensive rebounds, which is huge.
