Views from OKC is public diary from an OKC Thunder fan. Today we identify everybody’s favorite player not named Russell Westbrook.

If you are one of those fans that like the Thunder solely because of Russell Westbrook, this article is not for you. This article is for the true Oklahomans, those that were with this team when Lazar Hayward and Robert Swift roamed the sidelines. This article is for those fans who want to be different, who want to change their Twitter name to “Josh Huestis Fan” or make their cover photo Kyle Singler dunking.

Hopefully this post will free your mind from the Westbrook shackles (not that Westbrook shackles are a bad thing). In the grand scheme of things cheering for a role player is more fun. They won’t ever miss a last second shot nor will you see countless social media posts ragging your guy every time they play a bad game.

Norris Cole, Nick Collison, Taj Gibson and Andre Roberson are excluded because they are free agents this offseason. With that, it’s time to figure out your new favorite OKC Thunder player.
