Number 7: 13 of his Triple-Doubles came prior to the fourth quarter and 2 before half time

The teams Westbrook feasted on grabbing his triple-double under four quarters were the Detroit Pistons, New York Knicks (twice), New Orleans Pelicans, Atlanta Hawks, Miami Heat, Los Angeles Clippers, Golden State Warriors, Los Angeles Lakers, Utah Jazz, Toronto Raptors, Philadelphia 76ers, and Milwaukee Bucks.

As per Royce Young of ESPN:

"In typical Westbrook fashion, he needed only 22 minutes to record the triple-double. He has the second fastest triple-double in history. And of his 41 this season, 13 have come in three quarters or less, while eight have come in less than 30 minutes."

Two of the above teams fell to Westbrook in two quarters – the Miami Heat and the Los Angeles Clippers. In fact, his two second-quarter trip-dubs occurred back-to-back among Westbrook’s historic journey. Triple-doubles have definitely increased with the NBA  trending toward small ball. But, this type of accomplishment may well be the best example of just how unique Westbrook has become.
