Anxiously waiting on who the Thunderous Intentions’ staff believes the OKC Thunder should take with the 21st pick? Luckily for you we compiled it all in one place.

There’s nothing quite like the NBA Draft. Teams are busy making last-minute changes to their Big Board, fans are waiting to see who their next favorite player is. Oh yeah and the players – they’d like to know where they will be living for the next few years.

The Thunderous Intentions staff got together and made their own selections for the Thunder at #21. Some answers are the same, but the only thing we could gather from this exercise is there’s a whole lot of turmoil within Thunder Nation.

Will Brewer: Terrance Ferguson is a guy that can add scoring on the wing, one of the areas the Thunder struggled to find consistently this season. His best attributes are his athleticism and ability to score; he would fit great into the Oklahoma City system.

Casimir Cuffy: I think they are going to go for a shooting big. Presti has a tendency to reach for sleepers in the 20’s; Kyle Kuzma, the power forward from Utah, could be that sleeper pick.

Nick Delahanty: Justin Jackson would be a steal at #21 for the Thunder. His versatility and shooting could be enticing for OKC, who can definitely use another capable perimeter scorer alongside Russell Westbrook

Matthew Hallett: My pick is Terrance Ferguson. He spent a year learning the physicality of playing against grown men in Australia. He can stroke the three and is upside is huge; hailing from Oklahoma makes him the perfect fit.

Tony Heim: Every night I dream about one prospect in an Oklahoma City Thunder jersey. Semi Ojeleye. The 22-year old can immediately step in and play rotational minutes this season; with the right training regimine he could be a starter by his third season. Ojeleye fits everything the Thunder need in a perimeter player, all the way down to the hashtag: #OjeleyetoOKC.

Jeremy Lambert: I honestly know nothing about the Draft. I hope we get Justin Jackson or Luke Kennard though.

More from Thunderous Intentions

Gideon Lim: Thunder fans should stop thinking about Justin Jackson. He’s the dream, but there is almost no chance he falls this low. I’m going with Derrick White here instead. Four years in college should help him stabilize the ship in an area the Thunder have been lacking for years.

Austin Sternlicht: This is Presti’s first Draft in the post-KD era. WIll he stick to past trends and go for upside, or go for fit based on the team’s glaring needs? Presti does both. Semi Ojeleye will be able to play right away as a three-point threat while being able to develop more into an all-around wing.

Daniel Thomas: The Thunder painfully suffered through the season without a capable backup point guard. That’s why Oklahoma City has to be looking at taking Derrick White with the 21st pick. He would be an immediate upgrade at the position, a talent THunder fans haven’t seen at the position since the days of Reggie Jackson.
