OKC Thunder – 5 free agents who improve Westbrook’s title chances
By Bo Cardona
Kyle Korver:
Kyle Korver is one of the most prolific shooters the NBA has ever seen. He has a sweet stroke and great IQ making it easier for him to run to his spots and knock down almost any open look. This is something that the OKC Thunder desperately lack.

With the change of basketball underway right before our very eyes, the fundamentals of the game as we know it are almost becoming extinct. If a shot isn’t five feet from the rim, or beyond the three point line, it’s rarely going to be used today. Last year, the OKC Thunder rated dead last in three-point percentage as a team at 32.7%.
Along with being able to knock down the ridiculous kick out passes Korver would receive from Westbrook, he would also add some much-needed veteran leadership to a very youthful Thunder roster. At 36 years old, Korver is in a great position to give young teams like the Thunder an opportunity to be able to gain decades of knowledge.
With the Thunder right at the cap limit, it is going to be tricky signing a free agent . A trade is going to have to be in place to even give someone a veteran’s minimum. Though you never want to trade what you have worked to get just for cap room, expect the Thunder to move some big men for shooting power.
