Rudy Gay:

Rudy Gay was actually targeted right before his injury last year by OKC. The slashing small forward would be a great wing to fit in with Westbrook.

Gay is known for his ability to put any opposing defender on a poster. His ability to slash his way through the pain and punish rims with authority is almost unmatched. He is not the best shooter by any means, but before his injury he shot a career best 37.2% while attempting 113 shots beyond the arc.

Furthermore, The fit between Westbrook and Gay would be impeccable. As 2 slashers with cheetah like speed, Rudy and Westbrook would be near impossible to handle. And say they keep Oladipo, now there are three of the fastest players in the league running to the rim.

The chance of getting Gay is highly unlikely though. The cap space for the Thunder is non-existent, and Gay will be looking for the highest dollar he can before he falls out of his prime. If the OKC Thunder could manage to gain cap room, Gay would be an excellent fit for Billy Donovan and crew.
