Blake Griffin

I know what you thinking, and yes, I jumped on the band-wagon. But it’s so hard not to.

Blake Griffins legacy has been extremely tampered due to multiple injuries, and a drama filled Clippers team. In need of revitalization, what better way to reboot your career than by playing with the best player in the league (someone had to say it).

The same thing that happened in LA could brew in Loud City. Imagine the extreme athleticism between Westbrook, Oladipo and Griffin. Not to mention Steven Adams is one of the best running big men in transition. Meanwhile, this will also draw some attention off of the reigning MVP. Blake is a solidified offensive threat with a career average of 21.6 points per game. This means that he would draw defense, making it ever easier for the triple-double dynamo to get more triple-doubles.

Furthermore, this gives a little rest to Westbrook. While Westbrook is the most explosive player in the NBA, everyone needs a break. Adding a genuine All-Sstar to the team would help while Westbrook was on the bench. Donovan would probably run the team like he did with Kevin Durant. Further affording him the opportunity to always make sure one All-Stars was on the floor.

The addition of Griffin is not going to be easy. If Sam Presti can manage to work his magic yet again, He might be able to offer Griffin the money he wants. This will be a hard feat, and while us Thunder fans are waiting for the magic words, it is far from a reality. Let us all sit back, and have hope as we watch Presti try to pull off the most historic of season in OKC Thunder history!
