Tournament portion of Vegas Summer League underway
Day 6 of the Vegas Summer League featured the start of the playoff round or tournament portion of the event.
With the first round complete at Vegas Summer League, 16 teams played Round 1 of the Elimination phase on Day 6. Losing teams will still play another game on Friday, July 14 to determine final seeding.
Victorious teams from day 6 move on to Round 2 to face one of the top eight tournament teams. Those eight games all take place today (Day 7) with losers meeting up with the Day 6’s losing squads. Winners move on to the Quarter Final phase on Saturday July 14.

Of note, half the lower seeded teams bested their higher ranked counterparts and will move on to play Thursday. Again, the losing squads will play Friday against the teams who lose in today’s matches. The results of the Friday games will determine final seeding.

All eight Round 2 elimination games will be played Thursday. Loser move on to final seeding games on Friday while winners play Saturday in the Quarter Finals.

Quarters, Semis and Finals :
Winners from Thursday July 13 will move on to the Quarter Finals on Saturday July 15. Semi Finals occur Sunday July 16 and the two undefeated squads will face off Monday July 16.
