Welcome to Thunderous Thoughts, a weekly conversation about the OKC Thunder ranging from worshiping Russell Westbrook to spying on Paul George.

The offseason has become boring. Breaking news isn’t happening every hour, Sam Presti hasn’t traded for LeBron James and the Warriors are still really good. That’s why we take to Twitter to find things to talk about.

New OKC Thunder small forward Paul George sent out a tweet that sent Los Angeles Lakers fans into a frenzy.

Lakers fans, still on the euphoric high that comes with winning a complicated ten-day event amongst rookies and hopefuls, took this tweet as meaning Paul George will sign with the Lakers next offseason.

This means exactly what it says it means. Stay positive, work hard, make it happen. There’s no secret message here. But let’s discuss something. This tweet is from almost a year ago. That means Felton or whoever runs his account has not tweeted in almost a year. However, his profile is decked out in Thunder gear. His bio says “OKC Thunder Point Guard.” His header image is the Thunder logo. His profile picture is a photoshopped image of him playing in a Thunder jersey. The man hasn’t tweeted in a year, but he has completely changed his profile and found a photoshopped picture of himself in a Thunder jersey to represent the current team he plays for.

This is the most fascinating thing in the world to me right now.
