The OKC Thunder released their 4-game preseason schedule

As the OKC Thunder continue their offseason workouts the team announced their 2017-18 preseason schedule. Thunder nation continues to anxiously await the opportunity to witness Russell Westbrook and Paul George on the court together. They’ll get their first opportunity October 3 when OCK host the Houston Rockets in Tulsa Oklahoma at the BOK Center.

This will be a much anticipated game as it will also offer a first look at the restructured Rockets backcourt featuring Chris Paul and James Harden.

OKC will play one less game this preseason than last year and preseason begins one week earlier than last season. This in response to the leagues desire to shorten preseason in an effort to stretch the 82 game schedule. Moreover, the goal is to reduce back to back games and four games in five nights.  The regular season schedule is expected to released this month. What is known is the season will begin on October 17 and end April 11.

Chesapeake will play host to games on October 6 and 8 with the Thunder hosting the Pelicans and Austrailia’s Melbourne United respectively.

The final game of preseason will be in Denver against the Nuggets on October 8.
