Top Five OKC Thunder 2017 Christmas Day matchups
Los Angeles Clippers
Strange as it may seem, for all the intense games between these two teams, they’ve never played on Christmas. Both franchises are now entering a new era of basketball. With Chris Paul gone, Blake Griffin has once again re-emerged as the face of the Clippers. It was clear playing with Paul was stressful, so Griffin may be able to reach a whole new level of play.
Los Angeles made a strong effort to replace their point guard. As a result, Patrick Beverley, who Thunder fans love to hate, will take over the starting duties. Danilo Gallinari will be the best Clipper wing player in years, and Lou Williams, who killed the Thunder in the playoffs last year, will be a great option off the bench.
The Clippers may not be as great as they’ve been in the past, but they could still make the West very interesting.
