We’ve got good news and bad news. The bad news – it’s Monday. The good news – this is your OKC Thunder daily in the news column, where we serve up topical stories about your favorite team.

Today’s offerings include an adorable video featuring Russell Westbrook‘s baby boy, an Enes Kanter tweet, and a look at Steven Adams‘ “Game of Thrones” future.

Russell Westbrooks win at Snapchat:

This offseason, new dad Russell Westbrook has been able to spend a lot of precious time with his infant son, Noah. They’ve experienced Disney Land, Cabo, and… well… this:

The Westbrooks make the perfect duo. Noah is incredibly adorable, and Russell is a natural father – already racking up embarrassing things to show his son later in life.

Enes Kanter Tweets his patriotism:

When it comes to politics, Enes Kanter is nothing if not vocal. But for the most part, his Twitter account is filled with outspoken commentary on the happenings of his Turkish homeland.

However, following a series of protests in Charlotesville, VA over the weekend, Kanter reminded his audience that America is always on his mind.

Earlier this year, Kanter announced his desire to become an American citizen after being detained in a Romanian airport for his negative view of the Turkish regime.

Steven Adams is still the NBA’s #1 bachelor:

More from Thunderous Intentions

So, the Kiwi giant shaved off his previously infamous mustache/beard combo. As a result, two things happened:

  1. He’s still gorgeous.
  2. Fans are now petitioning for HBO to give Adams a spot on their megahit TV show “Game of Thrones”

According to Thunderous Intentions editor Tamberlyn Richardson, a fan named Will Copeland started an actual petition on Change.org.

"“The petition is directed to HBO suggesting Steven Adams should have a cameo on Game of Thrones. Specifically Copeland wants Adams to be part of the show as one of the Dothraki.”"

Here’s the thing:

I’ve never actually watched Game of Thrones (should I? Tweet me!), but if Adams ends up on the show, you’d better believe I’d binge it.
