OKC Thunder basketball is getting oh so close. In fact, we now know the entire schedule for the 2017-2018 season.

BREAKING NEWS: The Oklahoma City Thunder will play 82 regular season games against the other 29 NBA teams.

Even though we already knew who the Thunder will play, how many times they play them and where they will play at, the schedule release is always fun. What we didn’t know is the when and the how, aka the date and on what television station. Now all 5 W’s and 1 H (darn you how) has been answered.

Let’s take a look at the most important facts and figures from the full unveiling.


19: Game One is against the New York Knicks on October 19th. It is at the Chesapeake Energy Arena.

37: The number of nationally televised games. 10 are on NBATV, 12 are on TNT, 6 are on ABC and 9 are on ESPN.

3: The longest road stretch for the Thunder. They have 6 different 3-game stretches on the road, including two separated by one game.

4: The longest home stretch for the Thunder. They have 2 different 4-game stretches at home and 2 different 3-game stretches at home.

13: The pairs of back-to-backs Oklahoma City plays. The NBA said they were looking to decrease that number this season. Doesn’t look like it happened.

0: The number of 4 games in 5 days Oklahoma City plays. The NBA also said they wanted to decrease those treacherous spans. It definitely happened.

16: The number of games Paul George, Patrick Patterson and Raymond Felton have to get acclimated with their new teammates before
