OKC Thunder forward Enes Kanter has been working out in New York City for most of the offseason  – he had an interesting guest join him Tuesday afternoon.

When Kevin Durant left Oklahoma City to join the Golden State Warriors, Enes Kanter was the most publicly critical Thunder player. That criticism appears to be over.

Look closely and a few familiar faces show up in this pickup game: LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony, J.R. Smith, Dahntay Jones and…..Kevin Durant. This game made national headlines because of the inclusion of LBJ, KD and Melo – Thunder fans are more focused on the Kanter/KD inclusion.

This should be a sign to all of us: the utter disrespect of Kevin Durant from us fans must end. There’s always going to be an inkling of distaste, but if his former teammate appears to be over it, we must as well

KD hurt us, but he hurt his teammates even more. They’re the ones whose lives revolve around basketball; basketball is simply a game we are fans of.

Now that that’s over with, there’s a few other things we must address from this video.

More from Thunderous Intentions

Kanter and Melo have both been working out in this gym during the offseason. They’ve never been pictured together until now, but it’s safe to say their paths have crossed at least once. Could Kanter convince Carmelo to come to OKC? Oh the irony if Enes is sent back in the deal…

The only way Kanter is going to get better at defense is if he’s getting roasted by the best perimeter players in the world. Enes is a fine post defender – it’s the perimeter game he needs to work on.

Russell Westbrook worked out with LeBron earlier in the summer, now Kanter is? Hmmmmm. Lol just kidding, don’t get your hopes up Thunder fans.

Look, the NBA is a brotherhood. These are the best basketball players in the world, and the offseason is their opportunity to run with non-teammates. It is cool seeing Enes Kanter, one of the most talkative players in the league, being cool with some of the most talented players in the world though.
