The Thunder acquired Kanter in a trade with the Utah Jazz, a move which turned out to be beneficial for the organization.

Over the past two and a half seasons, Kanter has averaged 14.2 points and 8 rebounds per game. As he is mostly utilized in a reserve role, the 25-year old is a big presence that provides an offensive spark for the team’s second unit.

Along with his offensive ability, Kanter has also grown as a rebounder. Prior to his arrival in Oklahoma City, the center averaged just 5.9 rebounds for the Jazz. He has continued to improve his rebounding skills, which has made him a better overall player.
