Thunder in the news is an OKC Thunder fans’ dream – a daily post dedicated to finding the best content around the internet.

Welcome to a special edition of Thunder in the news! Today we’re rewarding ourselves with a little self-promotion. Here’s why:

If Bleacher Report wants to promote our articles as their last three posts, than we deserve a little In the News love today.

Gideon Lim’s film festival series

Our first stop is Gideon Lim’s latest post in his film festival series: Andre Roberson. Gideon broke down Roberson’s game on both ends of the floor, highlighting exactly what makes him the second best player in OKC (last season).

"But, Roberson’s remarkable basketball IQ matched with flat out elite defense propelled him toward becoming OKC Thunder’s unlikely second star this past season."

Russell Westbrook’s public image evolution

Second up (and these are in chronological order from when BR posted them) is a quick feature on the League MVP’s offseason. Westbrook has completely changed his public image in only a season – he’s only amplified that over the offseason. Whether it’s videos of him singing or baby pictures, Russ has it all.

"You don’t have to like Westbrook the player, but denying him a spot as one of the NBA’s most interesting players off-the-court would be foolish."

Singler or Christon? That is the question

And finally the article from yesterday. I decided to break down the 15th and final roster spot. Is Sam Presti and Billy Donovan going to stick with Kyle Singler or Semaj Christon? It’s more than just an issue with talent, that’s what makes the debate so interesting.

"Whoever Sam Presti and Billy Donovan decides to keep won’t drastically change the course of the 2017-2018 season, but it will impact the team/organization in some form."
