Kevin Durant gets pettier with his latest shoes

If you haven’t seen them, take a look at edition two of KD’s series of petty shoes before you read anything I’m about to say.

I love this. As a noted fan of NBA pettiness it would be hypocritical of me to hate these shoes. Is it a terrible concept? Of course! But most things that are petty, are stupid. In fact I’ll double down and show you what I tweeted since nobody saw it earlier:

If you’re mad at me for enjoying KD’s recent moves then shame on you. Let it go, he’s gone. You don’t have to like the guy – I certainly don’t root for him – but getting triggered by this is exactly what he wants you to do.

The Servant* obviously salty he’s still seen as a villain. That in itself should be enough satisfaction for you.

I just want to highlight this tweet to send the petty right back. I don’t like the whole name-calling thing, but other than that this tweet is golden.

The true NBA Fashion King gets love during NYC fashion week

And now we turn our attention to the true “Style Drive” of the NBA. Westbrook has been in New York City all week for Fashion Week – naturally the man looked clean at every moment. Check out For the Win’s showing eight photospost from his different appearances.

Westbrook’s Fallon appearance was fantastic

I’m on record as a former Russell Westbrook-hater. He still frustrates me sometimes, but his brilliance last season won me over. I’m also on record saying John Wall is my favorite player in the NBA. Westbrook’s current offseason is slowly making me rethink this.

His latest public appearance, this time on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, may have been his best.
