Where can Alex Abrines improve his game?

Alex Abrines is going to have to make a tremendous amount of improvement on the defensive end of the floor. As I stated earlier, Abrines gaining 10 pounds of muscle will help him on the defensive end of the floor. He is listed at 6-6, 190 pounds entering training camp.

Abrines also should be more accustomed to the NBA versus the international game now. Also noteworthy, he’ll be playing with Westbrook, George, and Melo, who all have experience playing at the international level. This is a great advantage for Abrines.

Offensively, the biggest thing for Abrines is just being ready to shoot when the ball is swung his way. It’s likely, he’ll get more than the 3.6 three-point attempts per game he got last season. One thing is clear, the Thunder like Abrines. He’s going to have a chance to really prove to be a go-to shooter for the OKC Thunder.
