Teams and players come out in full force to celebrate an βNBA Halloweenβ.
The spookiest night of the year got served with tricks and treats as stars shone in an NBA Halloween. On court the Bucks might have wished they donned super hero costumes as the reformulated OKC Thunder came to town and delivered a beat down. And while only 8 teams participated in games on the court all 30 participated in what was a fabulous NBA Halloween.
More than any major league sport the NBA is synonymous with holidays.Β Christmas Day is the day fans rush through turkey so they can settle in front of the TV to watch the ten featured teams. Thanksgiving, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day also showcase games.
During any of these holidays stars and franchises can be seen in the community demonstrating philanthropic efforts. But, Halloween is the one holiday fans get to witness players participating in the holiday on a personal level.
Some stars like LeBron James and Russell Westbrook host Halloween parties. Franchises and teams visit local hospitals to spread cheer. Others like former OKC Thunder player Enes Kanter take to social media to tickle our funny bones and throw a little shade.Β Rookies are dressed up, fans carve pumpkins and everyone enjoysΒ picking the best costumes.
So, as the witches, werewolves and vampires put away their togs for another year, TI thought weβd bring you the best of Halloween from around the NBA. Thereβs a bit of scary, humor, cute and even heart warming moments mixed in. Hope you enjoy our NBA Halloween recap.
