College draft prospects the OKC Thunder should keep a watchful eye on.

There is still a long time until the 2018 NBA Draft, which will take place on June 21. However, it’s never too early to take a look at potential prospects who could be good fits for the OKC Thunder.

Depending on where their pick falls, the OKC Thunder may or may not have a first round pick in the upcoming draft. As a result, the scenario for the pick is pretty straightforward:

  • If the Thunder’s pick is anywhere from No. 1-No. 14 on the draft board, they will keep their pick.
  • If their pick is anywhere from No. 15 or lower, their pick will be given to the Minnesota Timberwolves (via the Utah Jazz)

There is a lot of basketball left to be played, and a lot can happen between now and then. Especially with general manager Sam Presti at the helm, it’s possible that another first rounder could be acquired via trade.

Before we start breaking down some interesting prospects, it’s important to note that most mock drafts are based off previous early season records.

There is also a continuity in most mock drafts, as the majority of experts have the Thunder focusing on the shooting guard/small forward position.

Without further adieu, let’s take a look at some players who could be possible options for the Thunder in the upcoming draft.
