Full 48:

In almost every loss this season the OKC have shown glimpses of what they could become. For the most part, the defense has been strong, though there remains issues with paint penetration by driving guards.

The key has been finding a flow in the offense. The Thunder come out aggressive and force turnovers which lead to easy fast break buckets. Then inexplicably they fall into an odd pattern of trying to play in the half court. Hence, even in games where OKC continue to move the ball and themselves they look caught in cement. It’s reminiscent of what you would expect to see on the road – when teams gather to do a walk through mapping out their game plan for the evening.  Virtually playing in slow motion, doing what they’ve been told to do, but without commitment or a natural ease.

Facing the best team in the Association (yeah we see you Boston -but let’s be real) OKC can’t afford to have any lapses. Tonight OKC need to play focused and with intent for a full 48.
