Win the third quarter:

Of the myriad of offensive delights the Warriors produce (see TIP 3 later today), the one which is key to their wins is the third quarter.  Golden State is demolishing teams in this frame.  Case in point, trailing by 19 points in Philly, the Dubs scored 47 points while holding the 76ers to 15 points!

On the season the Warriors have lost the third quarter just five times. Most notably, three of those occasions resulted in losses (Pistons, Grizzlies, Celtics). In the game versus the Nets the Warriors were up big and relaxed. Toronto was the other team who took the third quarter. In the Raptors match the young squad held a five point lead late in the game. Ultimately, the Raptors succumbed in the final seconds but gave themselves a real shot of winning in the clutch.

For the OKC Thunder to give themselves an advantage they should look to emulate the Raptors. Taking that third quarter would force the Warriors away from their typical pattern and give OKC a shot of stealing the win.
