Two weeks after the OKC Thunder defeated the Lakers in Los Angeles, the two teams meet again in Oklahoma City for the second matchup of the season.

The Lakers’ loss to Oklahoma City was the eighth of nine consecutive losses, which they snapped with a win over Atlanta. They currently sit at 15-28 on the season. While the young Lakers continue to improve, OKC continues to search for an identity throughout a rocky first half of the season.

In the previous matchup, each member of the OK3 eclipsed the 20-point mark, including Terrance Ferguson’s famous breakout game. It will likely take a similar effort offensively to outscore a capable LA lineup, which includes several players who can light it up on any given day.

The Lakers are 11th in the league in scoring with 106.7 points per game. The scoring load is well-dispersed throughout the young lineup. Although Kyle Kuzma and Brandon Ingram lead the team in scoring, LA has a knack for picking up wins on the strength of scoring outbursts from players such as Jordan Clarkson and Kentavious-Caldwell Pope.
