The OKC Thunder are pleased to see the Grizzlies following a roller coaster ride through their last few games

At home, the OKC Thunder dropped a game to the Los Angeles Lakers in very disappointing fashion, capping off a four game losing streak. They then go to Golden State and proceed to beat down the reigning NBA champs.

With a chance to exact revenge against the Lakers on Thursday, Oklahoma City got blown out at Staples with Russell Westbrook and Carmelo Anthony nursing ankle injuries.

The second Lakers loss may be excusable with the loss of two starters with 17 All-Star selections between them. Also as was pointed out in our post grades article, LA has actually been rolling recently.

Bring on Memphis

The Memphis Grizzlies are losers of their last five games and are coming into Chesapeake Energy Arena with a 18 and 36 record.

The Grizzlies were expected to move Tyreke Evans at the trade deadline, but apparently could not find anything that worked. After sitting him in several contests, he will likely return to action here, albeit awkwardly.

Although early news has Westbrook and Anthony both still out if they do return (which it is hard to believe Westbrook won’t), there are no excuses for not taking care of business at home against the Griz.
