The Thunder have only played in Oklahoma City since 2008, but the list of top scorers since the franchise relocated from Seattle has an interesting mix of both journeymen and future Hall-of-Famers.
Only accruing nine-plus seasons of statistics, the Oklahoma City Thunder era of the Seattle-OKC franchise still manages to boast some impressive scorers.
If we’re going by the letter of the law, then any list of all-time Thunder scorers would include the rich history of the Seattle SuperSonics dating all the way back to 1967. For this list, however, we’re going to focus only on those players who donned a Thunder jersey, from 2008 through 2017.
Narrowing the focus of this list to what won’t even be 10 full seasons until the conclusion of the 2017-18 campaign has allowed some interesting names to make the cut, to be sure, but it only adds intrigue to the countdown.
One additional point of clarification: this only includes points scored in a Thunder uniform. That means that players that bridged both incarnations of the franchise, such as Kevin Durant (who, of course, made the cut), Desmond Mason (only one season in OKC wasn’t quite enough), and Chris Wilcox (same), among others, only counted for the portion of their points scored wearing Thunder blue and white.
With that out of the way, let’s get into it.
