Can Paul George win Three Point Competition?

As perimeter shooting has become more relevant in the NBA so too has the JBL Three Point Competition. In recent years the stars tend to turn up for this event more so than the dunk competition making it arguably the cornerstone event of Saturday night.

This year half of the participants are All-Stars including OKC Thunder star Paul George. Two are previous winners (Klay Thompson and Eric Gordon). And several have participated in prior years.

Heading into the event Paul George has been on fire from the perimeter and may be the dark horse to win the event. Most analysts are picking Thompson although some think Williams could benefit from knowing the rims or Booker could surprise.

Participants:

Personally, I expect Thompson to be in the mix, but I think George or Lowry could pull off the upset because no one expects them to win.
