As the OKC Thunder prepare to take on the Kings, news dropped that Steven Adams and Terrace Ferguson will play.

The OKC Thunder have looked like a revived team in their last two games. Take that with a grain of salt though – it came against the lottery bound Phoenix Suns and the reeling San Antonio Spurs.

Be that as it may, Oklahoma City struggled against teams below them in the standing for a better part of the season. However since the All-Start break they have been better, going 5-0 so far.

The biggest differences in the last two games have involved two pivotal factors. Corey Brewer has been inserted in the starting lineup, providing a spark. And, Russell Westbrook has reduced his three points attempts.

After attempting 4.3 threes per game in his first 7 games after the All-Star break, Westbrook shot only one three combined in the games against the Suns & Spurs. However it was not all good news from those two games Thunder Nation.

In the contest against the Suns Terrance Ferguson sustained a concussion after a collision with Steven Adams. It was a tense moment as it appeared Ferguson was briefly unconscious. After the collision Adams immediately signaled to the Thunder’s bench.

Ferguson remained down for a brief moment, but walked off the court under his own power. He was placed in the NBA’s concussion protocol. Per the Daily Oklahoman’s Brett Dawson, Ferguson will be back in the lineup tonight.

Steven Adams is available

In their last game against the San Antonio Spurs Steven Adams sustained a sprained ankle two minutes into the third quarter. He did not return to the game. I believe it was all precautionary because OKC was up big on the Spurs.

Adams will be back in the lineup tonight, with no minutes restrictions, also per Brett Dawson.
