Eastern injury report:

Toronto Raptors:

  • CJ Miles (stomach illness) missed 2 games, short term

Boston Celtics:

  • Jaylen Brown (concussion protocol) – return date unclear, though there is rumblings it could be Sunday.
  • Marcus Smart (thumb – torn tendon) – out 6 to 8 weeks | targeting May.
  • Kyrie Irving (knee) – will have ‘minimally invasive’ surgery to remove screws | aiming for return date by start of playoffs.
  • Daniel Theis (knee – torn left meniscus.) – out for season.
  • Gordon Hayward (ankle – fractured tibia) – out for season.

Cleveland Cavaliers:

  • Jeff Green (illness ) unclear return date, but short term.
  • Cedi Osman (hip  strain) unclear return date, but expected to be short term.
  • Kyle Korver (death in the family) return date, next week.

Philadelphia 76ers:

  • Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot (tendinitis in his right knee) unknown return date.
  • Markelle Fultz (shoulder – scapular muscle imbalance) unknown.

Indiana Pacers:

  • John Wall (knee surgery) practising with team expected back early April

Suffice to say 95 percent of the squads have dealt with major injuries this season which may have affected their seeding or may still impact the playoffs. Thunder Nation sends healing vibes to Andre Roberson and wishes for the team to also reach the postseason with no further injuries.
