OKC Thunder stretch report
INDIANAPOLIS, IN – MARCH 25: Victor Oladipo /

Indiana Pacers:

The elephant in the room for OKC Thunder fans will be if Paul George exits at season end. It will be a tough pill to swallow given how well Victor Oladipo and Domantas Sabonis are performing for the Pacers.

I’ve yet to talk to a Thunder fan who is anything but thrilled for Dipo’s success and most hope he wins Most Improved Player.

I’m anxious to find out who their first round series will be against and how much last postseason taught him.

One thing is certain – the structure of the core is in place for the Pacers to be a perennial playoff team and the future is bright in Hossier-Land.

Remaining schedule includes:

  • At Golden State Warriors, Tuesday 27
  • At Sacramento Kings, Thursday 29
  • On Road Los Angeles Clippers, Sunday, April 1
  • At Denver Nuggets, Tuesday 3
  • Golden State Warriors, Thursday 5
  • At Toronto Raptors,  Friday 6
  • At  Charlotte Hornets,  Sunday 8
  • Charlotte Hornets, Tuesday 10

Indy closes the regular season with the most difficult east schedule. Of their eight remaining games six are on the road, five are versus contenders and they have one back to back set remaining.

Indy has played two additional games to the Sixers and their schedules are not comparable. That said, it does seem like the last home court seed will go to the Sixers or Pacers since Washington has three fewer wins than Indy and three more losses than Philly. Both young teams would benefit from having the home court seed, so it will be a dog fight right to the final night.
