Three games remain in the regular season for the OKC Thunder. With potential to miss the postseason let’s reflect back on the eight most costly losses.

The OKC Thunder have put themselves in quite the quandary. As three games remain in the regular season, the Thunder must win out in order to guarantee a spot in the playoffs. Other wise they will need help from other squads vying for positioning or risk missing the postseason completely.

Moreover, since today is the final Saturday in the regular season. I decided it was a good opportunity to examine the Thunder’s most costly losses. All 30 teams in the NBA have losses they wish the could have back, it not exclusive to the OKC Thunder.

Take the San Antonio Spurs as an example, the Spurs undoubtedly wish they could have their recent loss to the Los Angeles Lakers back. Among many of their other troublesome road losses. The Spurs have the worst road record among teams battling for a West playoff spot having gone 14-26.

Teams with 34 or more losses on the season, such as Oklahoma City have a few losses that stick out more than others. Whether it was a lackadaisical performance, the opposing squad having an all-star absent, or even missed calls. The reason why OKC lost doesn’t matter now, only the outcome.

With that, let’s examine the Thunder’s most costly losses.
