The OKC Thunder fell to the Utah Jazz in Game 3 putting them in a must win situation for Game 4. The game offered five key takeaways to focus on for Monday to even the series.

For Thunder Nation the OKC Thunder season was a roller coaster ride. Yet, throughout the entirety of the 2017-18 campaign the assumption was this squad was designed to excel in the postseason. At issue isn’t the fact the OKC Thunder lost Game 3, rather it’s how the Thunder lost and who isn’t producing.

With back to back losses to the Jazz and preparing for Game 4 on the enemies court things look bleak. Yet, there is still the belief this squad would serve up a masterful performance invariably to deliver when it matters most. Suffice to say OKC are at that point. A loss wouldn’t knock the Thunder out, but it would put them in must win position needing three consecutive victories.

OKC haven’t done things easy this season, too often putting themselves in must win scenarios. In reflection gaining homecourt had more to do with what other teams did over what they themselves accomplished. Therefore, as the Thunder prepare for Game 4 there are specific components of the game which OKC must fix.
