Andre Roberson season review: The defensive master

The Thunder’s Chemistry seemed shaky at times during the regular season. Yet, the chemistry between Steven Adams and Roberson remained tight. This was confirmed in a recent ESPN article highlighting their bond. It stated Roberson and Adams are best friends, in fact, the pair even live in the same neighborhood.

Last summer Roberson accompanied Adams on his annual trip back to New Zealand. Many videos from the trip hit social media. The most hilarious of which was the duo singing along to the backstreet boys.

Adams wished Andre a happy birthday in December. And, he shared a few more photos from the New Zealand trip. In one, Roberson had a pink flower behind his ear.

In his caption, Adams referenced the infamous flower.  Roberson in the comments pondered why Adams didn’t crop the flower. The day Andre got injured Adams was the first by his side and the last to leave as Roberson was carted away. Their bond is genuine and is not only one of the best bromances on the Thunder, but in the entire NBA.

Helping others back home

Roberson is originally from San Antonio Texas. So, when OKC played there six days before Thanksgiving Roberson took advantage. Supplying 200 turkey dinners at an event with his charity entitled “Andre Roberson Turkey Giveaway 2017”.

Roberson wasn’t alone in his charitable efforts as teammates Alex Abrines, Josh Huestis, Thunder TV Analyst and San Antonio native Antonio Daniels among other Thunder staffers also pitched in.
