Terrance Ferguson season review – Rookie with big upside
Highs from Terrance Ferguson’s 2017/18 season
For a young player that struggled to earn playing time, highs are a little hard to come by. There is definitely one stand-out game that should spring to mind from Ferguson this season. You know — his really good game.
On January 3 of 2018, T-Ferg drew his first career start. Roberson was out, but with a lesser injury. Ferguson certainly made the most of his opportunity.
He exploded for 24 points (previous career high: 7) and 3 steals (previous high: 1) on 6 of 9 shooting from deep. The OKC Thunder thought they were onto something good and the Ferguson hype had never been greater.
Another high for Ferguson was more of a memorable moment than any real accomplishment. On March 25 of this year, Russell Westbrook stood up for him.
I’m not sure if Ferguson would consider this a high point in the season or not. If Westbrook defended me so fiercly, that would be an easy highlight in my life. I am not a pro baskeyball player though, so I’d better digress…
