The inaugural OKC Thunder ‘Starting 5’ mailbag utilizing musical tie ins as the Reddit community helps solve the teams problems.

As an OKC Thunder fan the season has offered moments of exultation and abject disappointment. When the former occurs life is great, but in the latter situation sometimes the only cure is to share in the disappointment. Perhaps the adage misery loves company is apt.

Personally, that meant taking to Reddit to offload, share and discuss why the OKC Thunder were so frustrating and what could be tweaked to fix things.

Therefore, it felt appropriate as a first column on Thunderous Intentions to conduct a question and answer session with the Reddit group who shared the season with yours truly.

To that end, this is ‘The Starting 5’, a mailbag which will appear on TI periodically to discuss those very ebbs and flows of the OKC Thunder.

With that – let’s dive in to the biggest ‘What if?’ in the NBA – the OKC Thunder and try to resolve why this iteration of the team wa so frustrating.
