Russell Westbrook pays homage to his brother via new ‘Why Not Zer0.1 Masters” shoe
It’s all about the shoes in the NBA, and Russell Westbrook just rolled out some more signature kicks. These shoes mean more to Russell Westbrook, as he dedicates them to his role model for a great accomplishment.
In a recent Tweet, Russell Westbrook showed off his brand new shoes, created to honor his Brother’s achievement.
Raynard Westbrook, has always been Russell’s biggest supporter, sending him texts of encouragement at halftime of every game.
A tearful Russell Westbrook explains during his 2017 MVP speech how much his family means to him. Westbrook goes on to tell the world his little brother is his role model. The “Masters” shoes show that off.
Paying homage to his younger brother, and also leaving a word of encouragement to whomever may buy them. On the tongue of the shoe, a simple question is posed by Russell Westbrook: “Why Not You?” which is of course a part of his marketing campaign “Why not?”
